Revolutions
Try the Game!
Revolutions is a 3D puzzle game made in four days for the GMTK game jam. The player plays as a robot deity, restoring light by solving puzzles before the time runs out.
My Contributions
I directed the art and produced all 3D assets for the game, including the environment map, robot character, and crow character. I also created two animations for the robot (walking and interacting) and two for the crow (flying and attacking).
Robot
The robot is the character the player plays as. I designed the character to feature elements of time and clockwork, from the headpiece that resembles clock hands to the heavy use of gears.

Crow
The crow appears in the intro sequence of the game. I animated the crow by referencing videos of birds flying.

Thoughts
What was hard was maintaining motivation throughout the days. As the longest game jam I've attended, I needed to keep working on the models consistently to make sure everything could be finished on time.

Work in progress (map)
My goal for next time is to expand beyond Blender. I want to bring my work into Godot, or whichever game engine we choose, and make sure the final game is stylistically polished. I also want to move away from relying on flat image textures and instead build environment detail directly through materials and shaders in Blender.
